How it works

One loop, repeating and improving every cycle.

This is not a one-time test with a one-time result. It’s a loop the student moves through again and again, with the picture getting a little clearer each time.

1

Understand

What happens

The student completes a research-backed assessment; a parent and teacher each add their own short perspective.

What Auriga uses

Student self-report, parent questionnaire, teacher micro-form — never just one viewpoint.

What the student sees

No scores during the assessment. Afterwards, a plain-language profile — never a label or a number.

2

Explore

What happens

The student browses fields, careers and pathways — including many they’ve likely never encountered.

What Auriga uses

The evolving profile, shown as soft framing (“this connects to things you’ve shown interest in”), never a hard label.

What the student sees

A browsable library, independent of what’s specifically recommended — exploration a student can do on their own terms.

3

Act

What happens

A short, curated set of real opportunities — competitions, research programs, scholarships — personalised to the student.

What Auriga uses

Interests, strengths, access constraints and deadlines, so the list stays realistic and reachable.

What the student sees

5–8 opportunities at a time, each with why it’s there, what it develops, and what to do next. No infinite feed.

4

Reflect

What happens

After trying something, the student writes a short, private reflection — what happened, what surprised them.

What Auriga uses

Only what the student chooses to write. Reflections are never visible to a parent, teacher or school.

What the student sees

A private space that’s entirely theirs — stated plainly on the screen itself, every time.

5

Grow

What happens

The profile updates from everything since the last check-in — new evidence, new actions, new reflections.

What Auriga uses

Stored snapshots and the action/reflection log — never a live recalculation while you’re looking at it.

What the student sees

A plain-language “what changed,” and a next round of guidance that fits a little better.

Not a one-time test

The assessment is an engine underneath the journey — not the whole product.

AI assists with identifying patterns, personalising recommendations and drafting content. Psychological interpretation, safeguarding, and any important guidance decision stay with people — a real counsellor reviews the guidance a student eventually sees.
